Lenovo is a well known name in the world of laptops and desktops and they recently announced a low cost tablet device called Ideapad A1. It is the second tablet from this manufacturer after it earlier launched Ideapad K1 here in India. The price of A1 is $199 which is about Rs. 10,000.
Lenovo Ideapad A1 has a single core 1 GHz processor inside along with dual camera and the card slot can take maximum of 32 GB cards. The seven inches screen has a maximum resolution of 1,024×600 pixels which is pretty standard for its size. Capacitive multitouch input gives you smooth Web surfing experience.
The OS used on the Ideapad A1 is Android Gingerbread 2.3 and it gives you more compatibility for the smaller tablets as compared to Honeycomb OS. The manufacturer also announced an app store and has promised by bring more than two hundred applications when it opens for the users.
Lenovo Ideapad A1 launch date isn’t known yet but it could be launched here soon. Ideapad K1 is expected to be launched in India by September and the manufacturer could bring in the A1 before that.
